PerformanceOS: For Home Energy Installer SMEs
Your Google & Meta ads, run as one system.
Fixed monthly fee. Monthly creative included. Benchmarked against your industry. One brand per area.
We’re not an agency or a freelancer. A human-led advertising system: live dashboards, monthly summaries, and a named person accountable for your numbers. No strategy workshops, no weekly calls, no bespoke builds - that discipline is why it costs a fraction of agency fees.
I’m spending thousands a month on ads and I have no transparency or idea if my results are any good
Sound familiar?
Agencies want thousands a month and, due to bigger brands, can treat SME accounts as a small fish in a big pond
Freelancers sell well, then go quiet, or become inconsistent in delivery or communications
You don’t have the time to stay on top of the consistent efficiency optimisation your account needs
It’s hard to stay ahead of creative fatigue and keep a regular creative cadence that powers results
Most accounts are still built on outdated pre-2025 structures and you’re overpaying per result by 20–40%
You are getting meetings and vague reports, but you want results and accountability
What you actually get
PerformanceOS takes care of everything you need for your ads to perform
Google and Meta now handle targeting and placements in a more automated fashion. Our operating system gives you a modern account structure, monthly creative cadence, cross-channel judgement, honest measurement and accountability, as well as benchmarked reporting for you versus your industry, all in a fixed-fee model.
Both platforms, one system
We run Google and Meta together and rebalance your budget between them based on a blended cost per result.
Built for how the platforms work now
Consolidated Advantage+ and AI Max / Performance Max structures with creative-led targeting. Not the 2022 setups most accounts are still running.
Monthly creative refresh
Fresh ads every month, built from your messaging, imagery, reviews and offers. It’s one of the single biggest performance levers an account has, and it keeps you a step ahead of your competition.
Human-led changes, automated monitoring
Our operating system monitors your account 24/7 for overspend, weak ads, inefficiency, growth opportunities and tracking failures, giving us accountable data to improve performance. Judgement calls and actions are then made by an experienced human on our team.
Benchmarking
Every month you get your cost per result against your industry average: the PerformanceOS Index™. You can always answer “are my results good?”
Total transparency
Live dashboard, fixed fee. You get email summaries and data rather than unclear agency or freelancer meetings.

Questions
Everything else you’re likely to ask
What exactly is PerformanceOS?
A fixed-fee advertising operating system for Home Energy Installer SMEs. We run your Google and Meta advertising as one system. Proven campaign structures, automated monitoring, a monthly creative refresh, a live dashboard, and a monthly summary that benchmarks your results against the industry average.
What actually happens on the audit call?
Fifteen minutes, on a call, walking through your account against our standard checklist, the same one we use to manage live brand accounts every week. You’ll see where your structure, tracking, creative and spend efficiency sit, what it’s costing you in pounds, and how your cost per result compares to the industry average.
You keep the scorecard whether you work with us or not. No pitch, no pressure, no deck. To make it useful we need either read-only access to your ad account or 2–3 screenshots beforehand. Without one of those it would just be a chat, not an audit.
What does it cost?
A fixed monthly fee, set by whether you run one platform or both. Our early adopter rate is £499 a month for a single channel and £649 for both, against standard rates of £649 and £849. Places are limited and are taken in exchange for a case study, a testimonial and taking part in the benchmark Index, and your rate is then held for 12 months.
The one-off £400 setup fee, covering the audit, tracking verification and build, is waived for early adopters. Creative Plus is an optional £250 a month on top of either plan.
Those prices cover ad spend up to £10,000 a month. Above that there’s a higher fixed tier with the same scope and the same no-meetings terms, confirmed at the end of your audit, before you commit to anything. Ad spend is separate and always paid by you directly to Google and Meta.
What are you offering above what Google & Meta can offer direct?
The platforms now handle targeting, placement and bidding strategies extremely well. That isn’t where the gap is. What they can’t do: judge between channels (Meta will never tell you to shift budget to Google, and vice versa), independently verify their own reported results, tell you if your numbers are actually good against others in your industry, or take accountability when something’s wrong.
That’s the four things we offer: cross-channel judgement, results verification, industry benchmarking, and accountability.
Is this an agency?
No. It’s a performance system. No strategy workshops, no weekly calls, no bespoke builds. That discipline is why the price is a fraction of agency cost.
Instead you get predictable, transparent and cost-efficient advertising performance through a tech-enabled operating system that removes complexity, reduces resource overhead and focuses on delivering measurable results.
Is a real person running my account, or is it just software?
A person. The automation is monitoring: it watches your account around the clock so nothing breaks unnoticed, and it stops us reacting to a bad Tuesday.
Every decision that changes direction is made by an expert human, and you have a named person who answers email within 48 business hours and is accountable for the numbers in your summary. Human-led, automation-assisted. The reason there are no weekly calls isn’t that nobody’s there; it’s that the time goes into the account instead.

I get a real mix of cheap, poor quality, high volume leads from my current activity. How does the system solve that?
Falling cost per lead with falling lead quality is one of the most common challenges we see, and is usually caused by campaigns optimising for pure volume rather than qualified signal.
We fix this at the tracking layer first: a written qualified-lead definition, a lead-scoring system fed back into the platform, and (where you have a CRM) an offline conversion import so Google and Meta optimise toward leads that actually convert, not just form fills. Cost per qualified lead is one of the key numbers in your monthly summary, not raw CPL.
Do you work with my competitors?
We work exclusively with Home Energy Installers, which is exactly why our benchmarks and templates work, but we take only one brand per service category per area, your creative and results are never shared or reused, and benchmark figures are anonymised averages across at least five accounts.
Our full conflict and exclusivity policy is published in full, including its limits.
How much of my time does this take?
Around an hour in total in month one: an onboarding form, one click to approve our access, and agreeing your targets in writing. After that, a creative approval email each month (48 hours’ silence and we proceed, so it never blocks the work) and a quarterly nudge for fresh imagery. You read the dashboard whenever you want, and a summary once a month.
If your activity is focused on leads and the qualification or quality scoring happens after the conversion takes place, the one ongoing thing we need from you is lead feedback: which enquiries were real and which were time-wasters. If you use a CRM we can read, that happens automatically and costs you nothing. If you don’t, it’s a few minutes a week marking leads off a simple list. It’s the only part of this we can’t do without you, and it’s what lets us optimise toward quality leads that actually convert rather than just cheap form fills.
What are the terms?
3-month minimum, then 30-day rolling. Fixed monthly fee paid upfront. Ad spend is paid by you directly to Google and Meta and never passes through us. All accounts and assets remain yours.
What if it doesn’t work?
You’ll know early, because you get a live dashboard and a benchmarked summary every month rather than finding out at a quarterly review.
Months 1–3 are the proving window: we set written targets at signup, and the month-3 review compares where you are against your day-one baseline honestly, including if the answer is that it isn’t working. If it’s not, we tell you what’s causing it; sometimes that’s the ads, sometimes it’s tracking, lead handling or the offer itself. After the three-month minimum term it’s 30-day rolling, and your accounts and assets are yours to keep either way.
Which channels do you run?
Google (Search, Shopping / Performance Max) and Meta (Facebook & Instagram). Single-channel or dual-channel plans. For most brands the two channels working together outperform either alone: Meta creating demand, Google capturing it.
Do you use my existing campaigns? If not, what happens to them?
No. We launch new campaigns on our standard architecture, because most existing accounts are running fragmented, pre-2025 structures that fight Google’s and Meta’s current AI rather than working with it.
Your historical account, pixel and tag data and learnings aren’t lost. We build on top of the same ad account and pixel. But campaign structure is replaced during onboarding, inside the 7–14 day ramp-up window, before anything scales.
What results should I expect in the first month?
The first 7–14 days are a ramp-up period where results fluctuate while the platforms calibrate and work through learning periods (read the guide). By the end of month 1 performance stabilises and you receive your first benchmarked summary. Months 2–3 typically deliver the strongest efficiency gains.
Is creative included?
Yes. A monthly refresh of template-based ad creatives is part of the core fee, built from your photos, reviews and offers. A larger pack including motion formats is available as an add-on. Brand strategy and full video production are not included.
The goal is not award-winning work. It is a reliable monthly supply of the best, genuinely diverse, competent, on-policy ads that can drive your performance forwards.
How does the PerformanceOS industry benchmark work?
At launch your benchmark line uses published UK industry averages for your sector, always sourced. As the Index builds, it moves to anonymised averages from the accounts we manage, published per category only once it holds at least five accounts, so it can never be traced back to one business.
What does your reporting look like?
24/7 access to your own bespoke dashboard you can check any time, updated multiple times a day, plus a monthly written summary: your cost per lead or sale against the industry benchmark, what changed in your creative and why, and the cross-channel budget decision we made and the reasoning behind it. No meetings required to get any of it.
How do we communicate?
Email support (48-hour business-hours response), a live dashboard, monthly benchmarked summaries, and scheduled review calls at months 3 and 6. No weekly calls: a purposeful feature, not a gap.
How does the monitoring automation work?
Rules watch every account around the clock. These include spend pacing, delivery, rejected ads, tracking health, and performance against target. The rules only act once enough spend has passed to be statistically meaningful, so we’re not reacting to daily noise.
Anything genuinely wrong, an ad rejected, tracking broken, spend running away, gets flagged and actioned same day. Anything requiring judgement goes to a human first.
Are any account changes automated?
Some are: pausing an underperforming ad, small scaling moves within set limits, pausing a keyword bleeding spend with zero results.
Bigger calls stay human-only, always: restructuring a campaign, changing what we’re optimising toward, and any cross-channel budget shift. Automation handles the noise; an expert makes the decisions that matter.
Do you build landing pages or fix tracking?
No. We audit both, tell you exactly what needs fixing and why it matters, and verify the fix. Implementation sits with your developer or platform support.
Who is this NOT for?
Businesses spending under £2,000 a month on ads, anyone wanting bespoke strategy and weekly meetings, and anyone unwilling to fix tracking issues we flag.
